SIA CCTV Job Opportunities in Portsmouth
Portsmouth lies on England’s south coast, mainly spread across Portsea Island. It is a naval base and active port. It is also well-known for its maritime heritage, which includes the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, where you will find:
The National Museum of the Royal Navy.
The wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar
HMS Warrior 1860.
The Tudor ship Mary Rose is also conserved in a dockyard museum.
All the above properties are unique and precious and need security. This means the job market for CCTV operators is good, with lots of work and career choices. There are also, as expected in a port, storage and transport facilities, retail parks and CCTV car parking facilities that require staffing. Plus, Portsmouth also has HM Kingston, which uses CCTV.
